This is great. My only question is this: If JP answers soon, say, in a few weeks, and gives away the old database, now that we have a new Vanilla database running, there'll be conflicts (for example, user names and user ids, probably others as well). So a database merge will be relatively painful to execute. Options A) Delay starting the new site for a few weeks more, and wait for JP's answer. (Before, he's always replied in the end, right?) B) Just forget about the old site. C) Start building the new forum, and if we get the old data, restore it in a separate place (subdomain?), so that it will index into Google and is searchable that way, but disable posting and registration. I kinda like option C, so that we'll have a new forum right away! Btw I just tried using recovermywebsite.com/, I think they use a combo of Google's cache and Wayback machine, they'll sent a DL link afterwards, we'll see what kind of archive there is.

Hey dimi3 the "apply for membership" button on the new forum doesn't work, there's an error message. So can't sign up at the moment! =( Never mind now it works. Just a temporary glitch?
